Layer

Add Static Layer

Select menu item Layer|Add Static Layer to add static layer to canvas layers. Newly created canvas will be the top layer and will appear in Navigator at the bottom of canvas list. Newly added canvas will be selected as the current in use canvas. 

Add Dynamic Layer

Select menu item Layer|Add Dynamic Layer to add dynamic layer to canvas layers. Newly created canvas will be the top layer and will appear in Navigator at the bottom of canvas list. Newly added canvas will be selected as the current in use canvas.

Delete Layer

Select appropriate canvas layer from the navigator. Click on the Layer|Delete Layer to delete canvas layer. Deleted canvas will be removed from the navigator.

Duplicate Layer

Select appropriate canvas layer from the navigator. Click on the Layer|Duplicate Layer to create duplicate canvas layer. Duplicated canvas will be added to the navigator.

Merge Up

Select the appropriate canvas layer from the navigator. Click on Layer|Merge With Top to merge selected to the canvas layer with top layer. Select appropriate merge option from the tool control option.

Following options are available to merge

Merge All

Click on Layer|Merge All to merge selected to the canvas layer with top layer. Select appropriate merge option from the tool control option.
